You know this was originally a personal blog...then when band things started picking up I thought cool..great way to post news. And dammit it is. Of course I wonder if it's actually serving it's purpose. Does anyone actually READ this?. I don't know...anyway my point is at one time I thought I should keep personal matters out of this. I have reconsidered...how can you as a fan (if there truly are any) really know us as a band if we pretend "real" life doesn't exist. I wouldn't be writng any songs were it not for "real" life. The band IS made up of real people with real problems. We have good things and bad things happen to us. I don't know...I guess what I'm saying is I'm willing to give up total professionalism to keep this more personal for fans...now and in the future.

I'm no GOD, I'm not perfect...sometimes dumb, simple things inspire me..sometimes I am personally going through hell...eventually it all comes out through music. I would hope that says something to you all....

On that note...other than my Family, Bandmates, and a few select friends here and elsewhere...I would like to personally tell everyone else to Fuck Off....at least today...lol. I am so tired of extending myself for nothing. What a damn waste. I mean really I have things in my life to deal with...I can't be responsible for everyone else and their stupidity. In short your on your own.

It seems knowing the facts, the calm before the storm is upon us. it happens alot in this town. Do I play in the storm or pretend it doesn't even exist. ...*sigh*

Have some news....October 27th. Yep that's the date. Further details...soon. But thats the next StykFaktor show which will feature - Will Z, Tortured, Sasha Feline, and Myself. In other words the line-up you saw at the Human League show (or maybe didn't see). Barring scheduling conflicts for shows this will be the new line-up. We're doing new band photos next weekend. I'll be changing a few things around on the site to reflect the new line-up as well. This thing started as a solo project and it's quite obvious it has grown into something much more. As long as everyone is interested in working in the project then I have no problem including them as a more permanent fixture.

Sasha and I will be re-working some of the songs to fit her in better. Perhaps we may get some time to work on something completely new as well. I think it's going to kick ass. As everyone knows..she rox.

Oh Brother.....why do I do these?

Been working on a cover song for a Metal Tribute Comp' we've been asked to be a part of. The sequence and all came out great. Due to me blowing out my soundcard last week and me having to buy a new one I really couldn't afford, I'm having to adjust some things on the vocal end of things though. Basically even though I purchased more or less the "same" card the fact is it "sounds" different, which is in turn affecting how I was used to recording things. I 'm going to have to adjust my recording regime' as it were....oh well..shit happens.

Ok he fixed it....hehe...guess I need to write something a little more impressive now on the next CD...then we'll be even again...

So we got a review by Mick Mercer. Tough man to impress that Mick..:)

Just when your thinking your doing ok....reality sets in....well a little. I respect Mick's opinion, although I don't entirely agree with it as I'm sure Mick would expect. All I know is we have a buzz going and people like us, so we're at least on the right track. I'm looking at the review as a constructive thing...I mean he didn't really trash us all to hell. I would agree there needs to be some improvement...Thus the addition of Will Z and Sasha. I actually rip myself apart worse than Mick ever could. So the cleverly hidden constructive criticism was not lost on me in total denial Mick...points well taken...see ya next time....;)
